The Data Ownership Protocol (DOP) utilizes zero-knowledge proofs in order to allow users and DApps to store assets and make transactions privately, or choose to make a token public.

DOP Testnet is live now. It only includes few tasks.

They already have a separate allocation for Community and Testnet users.

What is needed !

Sepolia Faucet — You need to get some Sepolia Eth for Testnet transaction on DOP Protocol

DOP Token faucet — Faucet can be fine on the testnet dashboard

Metamask Wallet is needed

To begin Testnet, Navigate to DOP — CLICK HERE

Connect your Metamask wallet. After connecting, you will be asked to create new wallets on DOP Protocol.

Choose Create New wallet, Then begin the testnet task.

1. Twitter Task

Follow DOP on X for the latest updates and announcements, and tweet about the testnet experience

2. Claim Sepolia ETH

Claim ETH on the Sepolia testnet to be eligible to claim Testnet DOP tokens in the next step, which we’ve done earlier.

3. Claim Testnet DOP

Get free DOP test tokens to try out DOP’s features.

4. Claim Testnet Assets

Get Testnet versions of several crypto assets. This will allow you to perform test actions in the wallet.

5. Encrypt Assets

Now you will practice encrypting assets with DOP. Then you’ll be able to use the encrypted assets for confidential transactions.

Note: You might get a ‘Spending cap request’ on Metamask. I recommend using ‘Max’.

6. Send Assets

Now you will practice sending your encrypted assets. After completing this step, you could check your wallet transactions on the blockchain explorer to see how DOP protocol maintains privacy.

7. Decrypt Assets

Let’s decrypt some of the assets that were encrypted in previous step. After the decryption they will go back to being regular tokens that are visible on the blockchain.

8. Invite 3 Friends

Invite at least 3 friends to join the DOP testnet for reward eligibility.Starting with your 4th friend, earn a 20% bonus for each friend who completes the testnet.

Important Note:
You will be able to claim your reward only using the same wallet with which you have completed the testnet tasks.
