Penumbra organize a ceremony for early participants. Presently, in the Phase 1 of the campaign. Phase 2 begins as soon as Phase 1 ends. Whereby each phase will take several weeks to allow equal participation
Penumbra's summoning ceremony allows performing a decentralized setup, allowing everyone in the community to contribute.
During recent development, penumbra generated certain parameters using a trusted setup performed by one person.
By participating in the summoning ceremony, Penumbra users can be sure the parameters were securely generated, since a single honest participant is enough to guarantee the security of the entire ceremony.
To participate in the ceremony you can follow the official guide or follow my simple guide.
To get started, You will be a VPS preferably. You might also prefer running on your Desktops if you have knowledge of running nodes and the likes.

Let’s get started.
First We will install the CLI

tar -xf pcli-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar
sudo mv pcli-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/pcli /usr/local/bin/
# confirm the pcli binary is installed by running:
pcli --version
If you keep getting errors. Try running the codes line by line.
Results:
Create Wallet.
pcli init soft-kms generate
You will be give your seed phrase. Please keep it well.
View Wallet
pcli view address
Now. Copy your wallet address and save it
Claiming faucet
Go to the discord channel, Join and Verify your entry

To claim Faucet, go to the “testnet faucet” channel.
Only paste your Penumbra wallet address directly.
You will be given 100 Faucet tokens
Here is what you need to know. You will use your Faucet( Testnet token) to bid your position for the ceremony. If someone else has more token bidded ahead of you. Then his body comes first.
You can always wait for the queue to reach your turn depending on you bidded tokens and amount of bidders.
To Contribute
This command only contribute 80 tokens to the Bid. You can change “80" if you have more faucets.
For a reminder : You can only claim 100 test tokens on discord every 24 hrs

Hold on for this to load for few seconds
Afterwards, You should get details about bid position and Ceremony contribution.
Note : Depending on the amount of Bidders at the time. You might not get in immediately. You can always close your terminal add more tokens to increase your chances early. Your bid information are safe.
By the time you are up the queue.
Wait for few mins ensure you don’t close the window/terminal.
Contribution Success
You will get your Contribution Reciept. Ensure you copy necessary details ; Contribution slot and final transcript.

Final Step (Submission)
Copy the details of your Hash and Contributor slot then post publicly. Twitter preferably.
